Arno
Arts is a multimedia artist, who is guided by an image to an imagination
of his ideas in any conceivable form. Painting, drawing, object or installation;
all means, media and materials are subservient to the idea. Arts uses
a well-known visual language, but takes you by surprise with his viewpoints.
His work amazes, it attaches itself to the world of the beholder. So trivial,
and at the same time, as special as an enduring memory. The perfection
of his work lies beyond craftsmanship; 'worshipping' is a better word
to describe the exhausting concentration of the way he works. This relentless
discipline is visible in his work and forces the viewer to take in every
image he has created.

Arno Arts is een multimedia kunstenaar, die zich door een beeld laat leiden naar een verbeelding in iedere denkbare vorm. Schilderij, tekening, object, keramiek of glassculptuur: elk middel of medium is dienstbaar aan het idee. Arts hanteert daarbij een herkenbare beeldtaal, maar overrompelt met zijn kanttekening bij die gecreëerde werkelijkheid. Zo ontstaat een kunstwerk dat verbaast, een beeld dat zich vasthecht in de wereld van de beschouwer. Zo alledaags en bijzonder als een blijvende herinnering. De perfectie van zijn werk overtreft vakmanschap; 'worshipping' is een begrip dat beter aansluit bij de uitputtende concentratie die zijn werkwijze kenmerkt. Die onverbiddelijke discipline is weer een inspiratie op zich en dwingt de kijker stil te staan bij dit verbeeld idee. | |||
